Within the scope of 3rd Child and Youth Biennial, Sarper Takkeci and Emre Gündoğdu carried out a workshop entitled ‘Plumbing’ in Beşiktaş MKM on June 7, 2014. The workshop aimed to create various structures with spiral pipes which can stand alone by using plastic clamps and fishing lines as connection elements.
10 students from primary and secondary school worked extensively to keep the flexible pipe material standing without external supports and to find suitable connection forms for it. The workshop was useful to recognize the properties of a building material and to explore its different possibilities.
